昨年Ikebana International Fair 2023の様子

いけばなインターナショナルでは三笠宮妃百合子殿下、常陸宮妃華子殿下、高円宮妃久子殿下に名誉総裁をご就任頂いております。
60年前にミセスクレーマの発案で、I.I顧問であり主婦の友社社長石川数雄様夫人のご協力のもと数人の手仕事から始まったフェアですが、現在フェア集客は1600名になっております。
又、I.I主催の初期例会時に池坊、小原流、草月流の3家元から同時出展頂いた事は、全く画期的であり、現在のいけばなインターナショナルフェア出発の原点でございます。現在は多くの大使館も参加されフェア売上金の一部は日本の被災地へ寄付しております。是非皆様のご参加、ご協力をお待ちしております。

Ikebana International has been under the continuum of Honorary Presidency by H.I.H. Princess Mikasa, H.I.H. Princess Hitachi, and H.I.H. Princess Takamado over the years of our activities.
Sixty years ago, Ikebana International Fair had started by a suggestion of Mrs. Kramer, first only with several members who brought some handmade goods for a charity with the corporation by the wife of Mr Kazuo Ishikawa, then the I.I. advisor and a president of Shufunotomosha company. Time went on, and it has grown to gather 1,600 people now.
Later in the early days of our activities, Iemotos of Ikenobo, Ohara, and Sogetsu offered their Ikebana works to show together for the same occasion, which was quite an epoch, leading to the origin of the I.I. Fair today.
Currently we celebrate the Fair with many members of Embassies in Japan, and a part of the proceeds is donated to help disaster-stricken regions.
We will be delighted to have your participation and corporation.
